With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, the Milwaukee community, family, and friends mourn the passing of Nada Moubarak, who returned to her Creator on February 3rd. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. May Allah (SWT) envelop her soul in His infinite mercy and grant her the highest levels of Jannah.
Nada was among those rare souls whose presence could illuminate any room, not through grand gestures, but through her genuine kindness, deep compassion, and unwavering love for others. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and respected. Her modesty, strength, and humility complemented a heart full of wisdom and tenderness, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
To be Nada’s friend was a gift. She offered comfort during times of struggle, laughter in moments of joy, and understanding without judgment. Her combination of faith and humanity brought peace to those around her, and her words often soothed unseen wounds. Few people leave such a profound and enduring impact on the hearts of others, and Nada was undeniably one of those extraordinary individuals.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, Nada’s legacy continues through the lives she touched. Her warmth, generosity, and selflessness remain etched in the memories of her family, friends, and community. Her influence transcends this life, leaving a path of goodness that will inspire for years to come.
In a beautiful tribute to her spirit, Amna Ataullah and Najma Abdi have organized a GoFundMe in Nada’s memory to construct a water well as sadaqah jariyah—a continuous act of charity. This well will provide life, comfort, and relief to others, creating ongoing rewards for Nada in the Hereafter. Inshallah, every drop of water flowing from it will honor her generosity and compassion, continuing the impact of her remarkable life.
During this incredibly difficult time, we pray that Allah grants Nada’s family and friends patience, strength, and solace. Her memory encourages us to carry forward the values she embodied: kindness, humility, and faith.
